Lover is led by Josefien Verleysen and Thomas Lemmens from the city centre of Antwerp where they bought an old house and converted it into a home, office, atelier & apartment. From there, starting out with interior projects and occasional furniture production. After some years, deciding to fully focus on the design and the production of small-scale furniture collections and objects from the atelier.

The work is a result of the study of a material, it’s possibilities to work with it and traditional techniques to create lifelong furniture with a warm eclectic touch, looking for craftmanship, heritage & beauty. Sometimes starting from a beautiful part of wood or object, and resulting in a unique piece. The small-scale production atelier makes the designs purified, finding the most efficient way of producing. Available in limited editions mostly.

Inspired through travels, vintage finds, books, magazines and artwork. Loving to share the constant hunt for beauty and design.
